Gutermann 30wt 100% pure silk thread was the original Gutermann thread made from spun silk.  This thread has strength and lustre and is suitable for all sewing projects by machine and hand.  We use this thread when sewing silk fabric that we plan to dye.  100m (109 yards) per spool.
