Perfection Acid dyes are suitable for wool, mohair, nylon, and other protein fibers, on fabric and yarn. To use Acid dyes, a dye solution is prepared by measuring the dry powder and dissolving it in boiling water. Dyes are set with white vinegar. The material to be dyed should be soaked in a mild Ivory dish detergent solution for a few minutes. Water softener is useful if your water is particularly “hard.”  These dyes come in 1/3 oz small packages.  Detailed instructions will come with your order of Cushing acid dyes.
