Mind Bender

Mind Bender B with a geode designs on cotton woven. SAS, tied wet, dye along sinew lines and DOI partially in the muck. Batched 7 hours in the sun under black plastic. Beautiful color splits and saturation!

Mind Bender is a gorgeous color with amazing splits. Mind Bender A & B are very similar, but you can see more of the blue in B. Extreme or X is very different from A & B. Mind Bender X has the addition of yellow which for me resulted in a beautiful green addition. In the video linked below, I show how I made an incline twist with Mind Bender X and then compare how the same design looked using Mind Bender A & B.

I saw this on Fun Endeavors' YouTube channel and immediately had to have it. The shirt is cotton knit that was scrunched and gravity dyed (the gravity part is tucked in though) and the skirt is cotton gauze that was scrunched, gravity dyed, and wick dyed at the bottom (all dye over ice). I am amazed at how the dye moved. I can't wait to try the others!
